About 100 plants were delivered to my home late this afternoon. How exciting! I knew they were going to arrive at some point today but it wasn't until about 4:30 that the UPS guy pulled up and delivered my much anticipated blooms. I have to say, some of the plants didn't weather the trip very well and lots were root bound but I feel like it is going to be alright in the end. I was slightly panicked and determined that all plants had to be potted TONIGHT, fertilized and watered. Goal achieved and all were potted and out by 9:30, just in time for the hard rain to begin again. Several pots are questionable but mom assessed the situation when she came over for dinner and assured me that in the end, it was going to be alright. I think if I go to this extent next year, I will just stay local with my annual purchases. But it is just the beginning of the growing season and I look forward to seeing how all these little plants grow and flourish. I'll keep you posted. Love these! What great color.
I wish I was a traveling crazy but these past few months have limited my travels to Syracuse NY. Oh well. I am offically a home owner and have joined the work force of America.
