NYC

:: I found this humorous as I was running along the Hudson today. Don't worry, it didn't smell bad at all. I am learning so many new things about this wonderful city. It was a gray, not so warm day out but it was fine for running. Once I finally made it to the running path down by the river on the west side, it was a nice flat run, unlike the run in Central Park yesterday. Now, if it is not too crazy tomorrow and mom and I get all our errands completed in a timely manner, I might just take another jaunt down there tomorrow.

::Side note, love having an iphone. It is my ipod, phone, and GPS all in one at the same time. I downloaded the imapmyrun app and it is wonderful! So fun to go back on the computer after and view my run on the map, my time and pace. Love it.

::The real reason I am here, Mom. She is better this evening. She woke this morning not feeling all that well but we powered through and made it to the hospital via the subway. A cab was out of the question. Anyway, her eye was better and we figured out it was dehydration probably causing her to be dizzy. After a several glasses of water she was feeling much improved. We had a nice dinner of leftovers and watched House. Shortly following the show we ventured into the kitchen to spend some time with the others on our floor. What an amazingly fun and strong group of people we are getting to know.
