What to say?

I am finding it hard to find things to write/ talk about. Now that I am back in the US and have a job and lead a rather boring, uneventful life, blogging just seems a bit boring for my readers. I mean, it is boring for me so it must be for my readers.

I so miss the days of flying here and there. Back in the day when I was a true jet setter. Visiting places rich in history or just warm, those were the days. Now, I clean, work, work out, hang out with the dogs, cook. It just seems so ordinary. I guess that is just what happens after the holidays. Brother Greg was the last to leave and it was great to have one last night of playing cards, even if I did lose every game. Oh well.

It has been frigid. These are the months when people talk all the time about the weather. I am the worst. I fully admit it. My sister in law and I start this discussion back in Sept/ Oct and it just continues on. It is rather fascinating if you think about it. It's not like I or anyone else can change it by having strong opinions about how good or bad it is. Yet, the discussion endures.
The moon was amazing tonight. I was driving out to a friend's home for dinner and the news didn't lie, the moon was huge and so bright and casting light on the dark fields blanketed in snow. It was beautiful.

Grady is trying to do himself in again. He stole 2 mint chocolate cookies from the back of the counter when I was out running this afternoon. I should have known something was up when Dyllan would not come up from the back room. She knew I was about to find the evidence of the crime and someone was going to be in big trouble. And that he was. I sent him to his crate only to find that he found a comfy place..... ON MY BED. I was so mad. I made him get down, yelled at him and sent him again to his crate. I then went to the shower. When I came out, back on the bed he was. This is so unusual for him. They are never up on my bed. I was mad, mad, mad to say the least. So into the crate he went with the door closed and locked. Then, he was not happy. Oh well, too bad so sad for you. I think his behavior today warrants the use of the shock collar tomorrow. I'll keep you posted on our discipline issues.

It's after eleven and I am going to try and get to bed before midnight. All is quiet here and locked up for the night. Maybe tomorrow I will have something more meaningful to write about. Everyday is a new adventure here at 34.

I for one enjoy reading about life at 34!

And the moon has been amazing "on the crest of the new fallen snow..."

Spring will come once again, even here. Then your mom will put you to work -- and help create projects for you as well!
